Can we call a motorcycle a work of art? Yes, if we’re talking about the MV Agusta Superveloce 75 Anniversario 2020. Those who have managed to get hold of one of the limited copies online can consider themselves lucky. Only seventy-five of the Anniversario were built for the company’s 75th anniversary.
On 15th November, 2020, a 75-hour window opened on the website from midnight in which a copy could be ordered. After that, this unique opportunity was over. All 75 copies of the Superveloce Anniversario 2020 were pre-ordered within seconds – without the final price even being communicated beforehand.
Technically, the special model does not differ from the normal Superveloce 800: an 800 in-line three-cylinder engine with 147 hp power, which also makes the Anniversario able to reach over 240 km/h. Differences are therefore found purely in appearance. The retro supersports bike competes in the color scheme of the Italian flag and with special graphic details. These include the black and gold spoke rims and the seat upholstery finished in red Alcantara.
These design elements and the limited number contribute to the hefty price tag of 25,000 euros. Around 7,000 euros more than the standard Superveloce 800, but who cares about the price when we’re talking about a “Grande Bellezza“? The anniversary package offers even more exclusives. A certificate of authenticity assures the uniqueness of the model. Exhaust specialist Arrow contributes a new exhaust system. And so that you can see what you’re riding – or even just owning – the upper triple clamp has a numbered badge. A special cover and a painted hump cover round off the overall package.

There are motorcycle enthusiasts who put the MV Agusta Superveloce 75 Anniversario 2020 as a total work of art in the living room or garage. Others will ride it – what it deserves! With so much beauty and technical perfection, the question of the overall image arises – and that includes the outfit of the rider. After all, one will not drive the noble piece through dirt and mud, but park the Superveloce from a bar on the way out and treat oneself to an espresso. Who needs a motorcycle for the price of a mid-range car? No one, unless it’s the 2020 MV Agusta Superveloce 75 Anniversario. Design, engineering and limited numbers make it one of the most exclusive and beautiful machines MV Agusta
has ever produced. It is unlikely that you will find an MV Agusta Superveloce 75 Anniversario currently on the open market due to its collector value. However, if one does turn up – grab it!
